I saw that dumbass commercial too. Please don't tell me that you believe they are portraying that piece of junk falling into the blender as tho it will actually happen.
Just in case you do.....the [lame] idea behind putting it into a blender is; if it can withstand being put in a blender then it can withstand the normal day-to-day use. Frankly I doubt that it would withstand a soft fart, let alone a blender.
The one they show after being in the blender doesn't even have scratches. What is it made of....alien space metal?
Don't concern yourself with pondering it. It's another piece of junk. 99% of those are half-witted ways to take good money (that is falling faster in value than a fat man's a.s.s onto a chair in front of a meal) for a rip-off product.

If it's a metal clip you should be able to squeeze it to make it thinner. Don't squeeze too much or the metal will fatigue and it might break.
If it's made of any other material (this is unlikely) then I have no idea if you can do this, so you might need a new one.

fold your bills in half and put the clip on. When i am not carring my wallet i put my liesen in with my money so that i have it with me also. If i am going to do a bit of driving or sitting it is more comfortable to have it in my shirt pocket than a wallet in my back pocket.

You fold your bills in half and then use the clip on the folded side. Very similar to the way you would use a paper clip. But just fold the bills one time, in half, and then put on the clip. My dad used to use one all the time.
